This is the second set from Dark and Light Alliance based on the theme of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. computer game and universe, and like the first we have already reviewed it in detail on the page Dark Alliance Stalkers 1 and 2, so that is the place to go for a detailed and knowledgeable breakdown. Here we offer an outsiders view, from someone with no knowledge of the universe but an appreciation of good plastic miniatures, and these fully qualify. Very nicely sculpted, with minimal flash, these are good-looking figures with a wide variety of clothing, equipment and weapons, all of which is nicely done. The general flavour is certainly sci-fi and mainly post-apocalyptic, which might help to explain the rather incongruous mix of very futuristic firearms and crossbows. Detail is very good, especially on the kit, and the poses are all realistic. Our expert on the series says that many have little or nothing to do with the subject at hand, but to the general hobbyist this is an interesting and good quality collection of figures which conjures up images of the Mad Max films and similar, so is an agreeable set for the collection.
