These camels are labelled as Mongolian/Asian, and would therefore fit nicely in various Eastern dioramas. The two animals to be found in this set are both made in resin and come complete rather than as a kit. However they are not provided with a base, although both will stand by themselves. We have added bases to make it easier to paint, and also to make the animals more stable.

As is usual from this manufacturer, the sculpting is excellent, with plenty of texture to give a good impression of the camel's coat. Anatomically they seem perfectly accurate, and they have a natural-looking stance too. Both are without any harness or other human device, so they could be used for any time period, though with only two animals in the set you don't get a lot compared with the soft plastic sets reviewed elsewhere. Still, these are very good models, have no problems with flash, and look very pleasing when painted.
