This is a game piece for the Zvezda 'Art of Tactic' game system. It consists of a 45mm anti-tank gun with two crew figures on a base, along with a marker flag. Although intended to be on the base the gun could just as easily be free-standing, although the two crew do not have bases of their own. The gun comes with the option of having the trail legs splayed open or closed, although of course for firing the legs would be open. The gun has a barrel length of about 25mm, which means it is the Model 1937 version, which was widely used during the war but was replaced from 1942 by the M1942, which had a considerably longer barrel. See the sprue image for full details of the parts that go to make up the gun, which are few, yet the model is really nice and pretty accurate, as well as easy to put together without need for glue. The model is lovely and crisp, and the two figures, dressed in typical uniform, are also very good. This gun would have had more than two crew, but as a game piece this is understandable and makes for a very nice model indeed.
