The theme of this set seems to be the domestic circumstances of the ‘cavemen’ – eating and socialising. The majority of figures are sitting or crouching, perhaps participating in a meal or simply conversing, although one woman is feeding her baby. In fact for most it is pretty hard to be sure what they are actually doing. Perhaps we should simply say they are doing something, but the customer can decide for themselves what that is, if it is important. The figures wear the same variety of skins that are found in the other sets, and as before we will use our ignorance of such prehistoric humans to pass on the opportunity to discuss their clothing, use of tools and even physical appearance. The set also includes a fire as shown, and an animal skin apparently drying. A couple of spears and some clubs (in metal) complete the contents.
