Review

As a site devoted to figures we don't usually include this sort of kit, but as it is part of the HaT figure range it is here simply for completeness.

The QF 4.5 inch Howitzer was the standard British howitzer of the Great War. A very good weapon, it was used in large numbers by Commonwealth forces as well as the British, and some were also sent to Russia in 1916, while a few were sent to aid Finland in her war with the Soviet Union. It last saw active service early in World War II. The model happily is made in a hard plastic and fairly easy to put together, although the simple instructions are not clear and we could not work out how the sight was meant to attach even after studying many photos of the real thing. Inevitably somewhat simplified, it is nevertheless a good model.
