This set is largely an old Preiser set, German Air and Ground Crew, released in a Revell box. Some of the figures in the original set (mostly the warm weather ones) have been removed and two new ones added. Our pictures show the figures in the same positions as the original set so it is easy to see what is present and what has been dropped. The bottom row contains the two new figures, which are both of seated pilots. These figures come in several parts (see the sprue image above), being body, legs and arms, and a separate head for the figure on the right. The figure on the left is smaller, and he wears his goggles over his eyes and also an oxygen mask. Both the new figures are absolutely tiny compared to the rest of the set, and Revell have made a virtue of this by saying the pilots come in different sizes to allow them to be placed in cockpits of different sizes. The two new men are far below 1/72 scale, but presumably they will fit into many aircraft kit cockpits that the rest will not.
